Late posting- Valentine Heart
Now in its John Lewis “memory box” I am posting this crochet heart late. I want to credit the pattern maker for her excellent pattern with clear instructions. I enjoyed crocheting this heart and the recipient was pleased with it too. Crochet and other stuff: Granny Sweet Heart Pattern yarnpumpkin.blogspot.com Advertisements
Another Owl.
The last of the owls -for a while anyway. Similar to the last one but with different fabrics and a better face.
Another pair of socks.
Just blocked and ready to go. These were made from a Patons yarn and came up thicker than the 4 ply on the label. I probably should have adjusted the needle size, but they will be warm and cosy. As you can see I did not have much yarn left and matching was out of …
A much bigger owl
This one is just smaller than A4 and is my favourite so far. I think I will have a break from owls for a while and finish some UFOs.
Production line; Owl Twit Two
He needed a friend! Might try larger ones tomorrow
An Owl
Made this today using the body pattern from Pinkled Tink. (pinkyhiggs.blogspot.co.uk). I quite like him and he may be the first of a parliament.
Follow the Herring
I made this from Kate Wild’s pattern. It will be joining the shoal at Folkestone. Read all about the musical and knitted adventure around the east coast this summer from the link;http://www.saga.co.uk/lifestyle/interests/crafts/knit-a-herring.aspx
Made in January-posted late-an apron
I could not resist this fabric from the Fabrics Galore stall at Ardingly Quilt show.. No guilt though because it is no longer in my stash and 1 metre has made an apron and 2 bags.
